Prior to the passport check at Schiphol, two Iranian asylum seekers, an enthusiastic young man and a rather hesitant elderly man, deliberate about the story they will tell about their escape. According to the young man, they stand the best chance to be admitted if they pose as a homosexual couple. The realism of this grave subject, which is set in the bleak locations of the airport and refugee centre, is alternated with light-hearted comedy.
