Series, 1995, 56 min.

Humorous television film about a young man with agoraphobia. Inspired by both independent New York cinema and Eastern haute cuisine, director Ron Termaat made a contemporary fairytale about the vicissitudes of an anxious yuppie. Sacked, hunted, robbed and living on a square where white Blockers and black Naffers confront each other, he notices his first symptoms of agoraphobia. The frightened man withdraws into the safety of his home and loses himself in his only passion: preparing Vietnamese delicacies. Until the presence of an engaging Vietnamese spring-roll seller and a dyed-in-the-wool landlord/policeman make him realise he can't stay inside for ever.
