Low-budget film on the subject of relationships, shot in the Amsterdam Hilton. Blind Date tells the story of a man and a woman confronted with the death of their three-year-old daughter Annabel. They fight each other and the world without in their attempt to come to terms with this gigantic sorrow. The dead girl watches her parents from the afterlife and expresses her dissatisfaction with the situation in a narration. But does the little girl still have the right to bother her Mommy and Daddy? Awarded with three Golden Calves: Best Director, Best Actor (Peer Mascini) and Best Actress (Renée Fokker).
