In the middle of the night, Luna and her friend Evy are thrown out of the car by her boyfriend after a flaming row. How will they get to the party now? They initially think he will come back, but their hope evaporates. Should they go back home then? Hitching a ride is the only option left. The cars at the gas station across the road are going in the right direction, but it is very dangerous to cross the highway, Evy thinks. Still, Luna takes the risk. On the other side, everything is cold and dark.
