Documentary, 1996, 105 min.

Dutch-Russian co-production about the active life and tragic death of Olga Sergevna. In the summer of 1991 the 67-year-old Russian Olga Sergevna stayed with her son Aleg and his friend Sergei for several months in the house of the Amsterdam filmmaker Lily van de Bergh. Van den Bergh observed her guests and recorded their acquaintance with Western society on film. No one could then suspect that Olga Sergevna would take her own life barely a year later. In consultation with Olga's eldest son, the director decided to complete her film. She left for Russia and found that Olga's striking story is representative of many of her Russian contemporaries.
