Luger

Feature film, 1981, 85 min.

Controversial black-and-white début by Theo van Gogh about the fascist psychopath from The Hague Chris Luger (Thom Hoffman) who kidnaps a mentally-handicapped millionaire's daughter to get rich quickly. However the girl's father refuses to pay the ransom. The Dutch- and German-spoken film is a verbal account in diary style. When it was released, this film caused strong aversion due to a scene with two cats in a washing machine.
