Jesse and his African buddy Harvey fanatically play cards every day. Meanwhile, Jesse's brother Maik and his hardcore friends hang around, the tough guys. They look askance at foreigners. Jesse wants to be part of Maik's group, but they think Jesse is not 'hardcore' enough: 'Otherwise, you wouldn't bring asylum seekers home', Maik feels. Jesse has to make a choice, which endangers his friendship with Harvey.
