Westenwind is the pinnacle of an expensive soap, but in the form of a drama series. The Noordermeer and De Graaf families have traditionally been shipbuilders and each other's competitors. The Noordermeers do not have 'honest business' in their dictionary, but they are much better off financially than the De Graaf family. Drama, spectacle, intrigues and a lot of flickering on the square meter.
