Point Taken - Dancin' the Camera

Short Film, 2016, 9 min.

A love story between a tap dancer, a pianist and a vintage movie camera. As it turns out, the so-called hand crank camera from 1922 is not only an instrument for capturing a dance choreography, but increasingly becomes a stage for the dancer, literally. Dancer and camera blend through rhythm and the characteristic tap sound is heard next to the hum of the rolling movie camera. Distinctive dance film in black-and-white, full of little visual, editing and dancing pranks.
