Ashes to Ashes
Surreal virtual reality from a very unusual perspective: a deceased grandfather’s urn. A dysfunctional family tries to grant his last wish, but things do not go as planned, because each family member has his or her secret agenda. Golden Calf winner Anne Barnhoorn wrote the tragicomic screenplay, which was directed by three artists from different disciplines: VR artist Steye Hallema, theatre producer Ingejan Ligthart Schenk and film director Jamille van Wijngaarden.
