Keep on steppin'

Short documentary, 2011, 5 min.

(Natural) disasters and wars snatch people from their daily routines and force them to reinvent life. The series Keep on Steppin' visualises their stories about hope and the will to live in poetic images and animations.
An old man stoically tells about the shrinking of the Aral Sea, which cast ships aground and turned ports into desert villages, an unintentional effect of the cultivation of cotton. Text and images underline his monologue.
