Documentary, 2008, 80 min.

In 2006, Al Zarqawi, an leader of Al-Qaida, was killed by American troops. Al Zarqawi was from the poor Jordanian town of Zarqa, where he was not known as a strictly religious man. Still, he became an extremist.
The filmmaker descended on Zarqa for this unpredictable and humane film and followed a former mujahedin in his search for work. This Abu Amar lacks business instinct, so his book about the jihad fails to find a publisher. There is nothing left for him but go to the city with his sons and collect cardboard. Amar tells about his memories of Al Zarqawi and his view of the state of affairs in the Middle East. He also discusses the subject with friends. 'The solution is in economy, democracy and freedom of speech, one of them asserts. 'If you're suppressed and can't express yourself, you turn to violence to convey your ideas.' And Amar also struggles with reconciling his religion with the everyday reality.
