The two friends Graef and Henderson climb a mountain. They maintain a delicate mutual balance with the help of a rope. When one makes a mistake, the other has to catch him. When the inevitable happens, Henderson dangles above the abyss, with his friend Graef, with whom he can?t communicate, on the other side, as a counterbalance. The physical and mental fight of the young man, who is literally poised between hope and fear, is filmed up close.
