In September 1987, a meeting of the Serbian Communist Party turned out to be a turning point in the build-up to the war in former Yugoslavia. Theta Rhythm is a reconstruction of the assembly, as seen through the eyes of civil servant Mirko Fajfric, the filmmaker?s father. Bojan Fajfric puts himself in his father's shoes on the day of that lengthy political session, where he refrained from possibly influencing a crucial moment in history.
