The 92-year-old family doctor Nico van Hasselt still makes his house calls every day, like he has done for 58 years. With personal attention and contact, he watches over his patients. His enemies are the health insurers, who meddle in the smallest details and trigger more and more red tape. With a heavy heart, Van Hasselt sees his profession change, but he refuses to abandon his patients. Backed by his wife - invariably seated at the dining table - he keeps fighting everything he thinks wrong in today’s care system.
