For most people, staying in a hotel means holiday, a nice time away from home. But not for hotel inspector Ludwig, who has been waking up in different hotel rooms for the last thirty years, and considers hotel beds and interchangeable rooms home. From his ivory tower of room service and wake-up calls, he has lost touch with reality. Until, spending the night in Paris, he runs into a younger female colleague. Tragicomedy about a dulled man who can use a personal wake-up call.
