Every Wednesday, 8-year-old Kris and 35-year-old Willem go to the swimming pool, where they have a whale of a time together. From Kris? view, there?s a lot to see: people under water, teenagers chatting, the colour of the chute, the blood on his toenail. But despite the cheerfulness and fun, as the story develops, the atmosphere doesn?t feel as pleasant as you may expect. And then, Willem suddenly comes with a frightening request.
