Short Film, 2008, 10 min.

On 8 May 1885, a 22-year-old woman jumped from the very tall Clifton Suspension Bridge near Brighton. Her suicide attempt failed because the wind got a hold of her clothes and she landed in the relatively soft mud beside the water. She promptly became a living legend. The filmmaker unfolds this story with the help of historical newspaper articles that are read out, thus accompanying black-and-white images of the bridge in question.
