Documentary about Japanese-Dutch-East-Indonesian descendants in search of their biological fathers. When World War II came to South East Asia thousends of Japanese soldiers went to the Dutch East Indies. As in all occupied countries, soldiers had love affairs with local women women here too. Some of there relationships resulted in children. After the Japanese army left, the women were often left behind alone. The documentary shows a number of Japanese-East-Indonesian descendants and follows them on their quest for their Japanese fathers. Having wrestled for years with guilt about their origins, they try to contact their fathers through the Red Cross or relations in Indonesia and Japan.
