Willem is on the verge of becoming a father: his girlfriend’s contractions have started. When the irreversibility of his baby’s arrival dawns on him, Willem is besieged by a feeling of uselessness and acute fear of fatherhood. While other pregnant women in the hospital lecture him on parenting, his delivering girlfriend won’t take anything from him and the receptionist seems to be the only person interested in him, he realises he will have to bid farewell to his current life and embrace the transformation.
