Tragicomic swiftly edited Flemish soccer film, based on the Dutch film and TV series All Stars, film about friendship, self-fulfilment, relational problems and soccer. As in Van de Velde's scenario, the film deals with the cares and affairs of a group of soccer friends at a turning point in their lives. In the build-up to their 500th match, the men of `Eendracht Vooruit' are faced with amorous vicissitudes, they mourn for their former coach's death, and they all have their various personal problems. The question arises whether the historical match will actually take place.
