Twelve-year-old Auke and Serwin are best friends. When she threatens to be expelled to Iraq, the rebellious Auke does everything to prevent it. From whom should he crib now when he hasn’t done his homework again? Serwin just belongs here, with him. After all, she was born here; she has never been to Iraq. Will he manage to keep her in the Netherlands? And is Serwin herself actually in a position to make demands? An affectionate tribute to an intense friendship in the country.
