In this short dance film, a woman explores her possibilities in a square framework of stationary people. Then, from outside the circle, a young man approaches who encourages her to let go of that familiar environment. In Moniek van der Kallen's directing debut, dance is just as important as photography: choreography and shots are distinctly tuned to one another. Just like the editing, which complements the choreography with, for example, repetition and deceleration.
