After a poem by Martinus Nijhoff. A simple yellow stick figure, with stripes for arms and legs, in a world of coloured shapes, shaking lines and metallic-sounding footsteps. He chases a blue likeness, like an elusive reflection. In voice-over, the poem is meanwhile recited, about the poet who sees a reflection of himself as a child.
