7.65

Short Film, 1970, 7 min.

Short experimental film looks like a tribute to the famous 7.65 Walther pistol. In stylish black-and-white images, the exterior and mechanism of the handgun are explored. The legendary pistol is cherished: it is wrapped in a silk cloth, carefully taken apart, smeared with grease and cleaned. A man caresses the gun and slides it over his face and mouth. The film was produced by Rob du Mée.
