The film Escher: The infinite search tells the story of Maurits Cornelis Escher (1898-1972). Who was this man who was passionate, obsessed, hiding the world with his imagination, in which impossibilities become possible and in which infinity is within reach and at the same time elusive? In the documentary the journey through his life is followed; the search for inspiration, the journeys through Italÿ, Switzerland and Spain and how he came to his great works. He talks about his wonder, his fears, doubts and successes, and gives his vision on his own work.
