For this hypnotising stop-motion film, Gerco de Ruijter cut one thousand circles from Google Earth and turned them into an experimental video collage about irrigation areas in the United States. Sprinklers rotate around a central axis, watering round fields of green crops in the middle of desert areas. Next year, this work is scheduled to become part of an installation.
