Wildernis in Drenthe

Documentary, 2016, 94 min.

For more than two and a half years, the filmmakers captured the nature of the Heart of Drenthe and Drents-Friese Wold National Park. They went to places rarely visited by people, registering the lives of all sorts of animals, plants and insects, including the rare pine marten and even rarer wryneck. The nature film smashed all box-office records in provincial capital Assen, even leaving behind Hollywood blockbusters such as James Bond and Star Wars.
