Just like a detective, the American scientist Willem Sullivan unravels what is behind the myths and astronomy of the Incas. Long before the Inca empire was trampled in 1532 by a handful of Spaniards, this people in the Andes - illustrious builders and proud warriors - 'knew' it was doomed. Rituals and wars seemed no more than an attempt to hold back time and avert fate.
