Het bewaarde landschap

Short documentary, 1985, 51 min.

For this documentary about Hoge Veluwe National Park, John Fernhout filmed in all seasons. He extensively followed the many animals populating the park: the red deer, the wild boars, the foxes, the woodpeckers and the buzzards. He meticulously captured the change of the seasons, which he was able to visualise in a few seconds by means of smartly editing the footage. The film also pays attention to the Kröller Müller Museum located in the park and to the famous St. Hubertus Hunting Lodge.
