De overval
Feature film is a reconstruction, based on a scenario by war investigator dr. Lou de Jong, of the surprise attack on Leeuwarden prison on 8 December 1944, when a group of resistance fighters tried to liberate their arrested comrades. For the direction, Kees Brusse was assisted by British documentary filmmaker Paul Rotha.
