As in Roskam's short film Haun!, violence again plays a role in Carlo. This tragicomic short film, partly spoken in dialect, tells the story of Carlo Canetti, a Fleming whose misfortune it is to be the cousin of an amateur soccer player. A film about fortune and chance, about Flemish and Walloon people, identity changes and fate.
