Zusjes focuses on the relationship between filmmaker Roos Geevers and her younger sister Margriet. The chronologically edited archive images, in which the siblings are together in various ways as young girls, are accompanied aurally by the same short and seemingly meaningless phone conversation between Roos and Margriet.
