The Wanderers
Shot in an informal style, this portrait of an era with its nostalgic rock ‘n’ roll soundtrack shows the world of youth gangs and street culture in 1963 New York. Pluck and bravura, especially when girls come into the picture, are diurnal phenomena among The Wanderers gang, but tragedy can strike unexpectedly. While the Italian gang from The Bronx gets caught up in a violent battle with rivals, its members are confronted with changing times and inevitable choices.
