American black comedy about a family that finds pleasure in things of a macabre nature. Gomez Addams and his wife Morticia have two children: Pugsley and Wednesday. Uncle Fester is missing and a malicious doctor is after their money. Their Monster of Frankenstein-like butler Lurch is played by the tree-sized Dutch actor Carel Struyken.
