Romantic adventure film about an Amsterdam policeman who tries to keep a Jewish girl out of the hands of a Nazi fugitive. Intrigued by her likeness to his fiancée who was taken away during the war, he eventually accompanies her all the way to Israel. Many stylish pictures of a very quaint looking Holland.
