The Chase
Jack Hammond, having been sentenced to a lengthy prison term while innocent, manages to escape at the last moment. When his escape is discovered, he kidnaps a girl. She turns out to be the daughter of an American businessman and billionaire. A wild chase along the highways of California is followed by an army of reporters who smell sensation.
