TAPZ - A Mobimentary

Short documentary, 2008, 51 min.

Hyper-realistic ensemble film in which two men and two women capture their lives on their mobile phones for eight weeks. A teenage mother who is about to give birth, a student who moves into her first lodgings, a young man who tries to forget the love of his life and a 'rebel without a cause' who gradually turns out to be much gentler than it would seem at first sight. A delivery, a visit to a monastery, going to a prostitute or coming home at night dead drunk and standing in the toilet, but also candid confessions about their doubts, anger and failures: the youngsters captured everything with their own cameras.
'Real life', but without the melodrama of reality TV. In leaps and bounds, fragments from those two months flash past. First with a clear image in the daytime, then grainy and barely lit in a dim room at night: this is unpolished cinema about the daily lives of the youngest generation of adults.
