To help people in Deventer find their way in the overburdened healthcare system, Ria hosts the local radio program Kanaal Sociaal (Care Radio). While her impassioned conversations and heartwarming songs can be heard in living rooms throughout the city, five individuals must change their lives in order to take good care of their loved ones.
This documentary follows the lives of Seval, Louise, Mariska, Piet, Elly and Marloes as they care for a loved one. They battle with the question of whether they will ever get their own lives back; the care takes an increasing toll on them.
