Liotta is a pregnant Bosnian woman. 'My Bosnian landscape', she says in the beginning, 'Just sleep until I'm in you again.' During the start credits, photographs of a pregnant woman and of Bosnia alternate. Liotta is in Belgium. She travels around, stares out of the train window and walks through cities with a figure of Christ pressed to her chest and swollen belly. Along the way, she meets Rona, also pregnant, also carrying a Christ figure. She pulls pictures of children from apples. Liotta speaks predominantly in voice-over, in Bosnian and French, repeating texts about Bosnia, Jesus, her parents who were killed in the war, her baby. 'I'm going to find paradise, for my child.' Silence is alternated with emphatic soundscapes, floating and repetitive. The image formats vary; wide and flat or high and narrow; sometimes shots are taken from a TV monitor. A dreamy and meditative inner journey, with returning locations, by day and by night.
