Animation film inspired by the poem Het noorden is het noorden by fine artist and poet Maria Barnas, who also reads the text. If you cannot rotate the map because the north has to stay the north, you can always tilt your head, the poet says. Meanwhile, images of labyrinths and a claustrophobic-looking cubist city tilt and tumble across the screen and eventually settle down. Made for the Geen Daden Maar Woorden Festival.
