Thomas lives with his grandmother in the country. One day, an unknown man comes along and stays for a few days to hunt, eat with them and do some odd jobs. Thomas waits to see which way the wind blows and wonders who the man is. At his grandma's advice, he goes fishing with him one day. But when he wants to go fishing again, it turns out that the man will leave the next morning. But he promises Thomas to come back.
