Feature after a novel by Patrick Modiano, in which Jean returns to his birthplace Lima to start a new life with his lover Sylvia. Sylvia has left France and her husband with a diamond he stole and joins Jean in Lima. They love each other and want to experience their desires, their joys and their emotions as intensely as possible. In Lima they meet Murielle (Marushka Detmers) and Franck Devil, a French couple to whom they think they can sell the stolen diamond.
