In this short video poem, two Prinsjesdag speeches by Queen Beatrix, in 1997 and 2008, are juxtaposed. On behalf of the government, she expresses the plans for the coming period of office. The shrewd editing reveals that she does not say anything new: only the queen's dress seems to differ. The essence? The government hopes, knows, aspires and realises. But they mainly work very hard.
