Dignitaries who are about to sign a peace treaty fail to open the box containing the pen. While an ordinary boy braves the war to bring the key to the group of leaders, the latter are on a short fuse in the assembly room. Sverlow made his ultrashort animation film for the Canvas series '12 minuten over vrede', on the occasion of the commemoration of WW I in Belgium.
